The Lateral Endoscopic Brow Lift
The term lateral means “outside part.” The lateral Brow Lift only uses two small incisions in the hair-bearing scalp. The lateral brow tissue is released which lifts the outer half of the brow. This lifts the lateral aspect of the brow 3-5 mm. The central part of the brow remains at the same level. This is important for some people who are looking for more of an elevated lateral (outside) part of their arch.
The Standard Endoscopic Brow Lift
The standard Endoscopic Brow Lift releases the whole length of the brow. This style of elevation is an excellent option for those who would like the entire length of the brow lifted. This again is minimally invasive, and small 2-3 cm incisions in the hair-bearing scalp are used.
The Surgery
Endoscopic Brow Lifts can be performed with minimal anesthesia. Dr. Zoumalan uses a state-of-the-art facility with the highest accreditation possible and reputable, experienced anesthesiologists.
Often times, this surgery is performed at the same time as a Facelift or Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty).
