Dr. Zoumalan Welcomes all Out of Town Patients to his Practice!

We have taken every measure to make it easy for patients from out-of-town to have the easiest and best experience. Please read the steps below to help with the process, and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Step 1: Contact Us or Email your Request and Pictures!

Please email info@lafacemd.com with the details of your request along with recent photos of yourself. Take a look within our photo gallery to get a better idea of what to send. Here are some basic instructions:

The three photos should be:

      1. Front Facing View
      2. Side Facing View
      3. Slightly Turned or 3/4 View

 

All photos should be taken against a solid color background (white or blue is preferable), and all photos are highly confidential.

Step 2: Online Skype or Facetime consultation with Dr. Zoumalan

After contacting us, we will determine which type of consultation is best for you whether by phone or video conference such as Skype or Facetime. During your consultation, we will receive a better understanding of your goals and expectations. Our staff will also walk you through a pre-surgical assessment and cost expectation. Financial options are available if needed as well.

Step 3: Scheduling and Planning Around Your Procedure

Once you feel comfortable with your initial phone or video consultation our staff will schedule a date for your initial in-person consultation as well as your surgery and post-operative visits. It is advised to arrive at minimum 48 hours before your surgery date so that you can meet the doctor and have a proper evaluation and do a necessary examination and imaging (sometimes 3-D imaging).
Once your surgery is confirmed, we will provide you will a pre-operation informational packet.

The safety of our patients and staff are always our number one concern. We may require pre-operative lab work or medical clearance from your primary physician. This will all be detailed by Dr. Zoumalan and his staff throughout the consultation.

Post Operative Recovery

The amount of time you will need to stay near Los Angeles varies depending on the procedure. If you are unable to have someone help you recover, we can arrange for a nurse at your place of stay or a recovery center. Our staff coordinator can help you with everything.

Los Angeles International (LAX) and Burbank International (BUR) are the nearest airports to our facility.
