Over active movement in the forehead may cause horizontal lines, and squinting the muscles around the eyes may cause fine lines, which are also known as “Crow’s Feet”.

Once Botox is injected into the muscle, it weakens the muscle activity that leads to wrinkles. Botox can take anywhere from 2-10 days to see the effects and can last up to 3-6. The result is a reduction in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, which leads to smoother skin.

This causes your skin to furrow and fold, creating wrinkles. Also when you squint, the muscles around your eyes contract and cause crow’s feet. The constant action of your forehead muscle (the Frontalis muscle) creates horizontal lines on the forehead.

Here we have three different patients of Dr. Zoumalan treated with Botox Cosmetic. All three experienced improvement in their forehead lines. This was done in a natural and safe way.

BOTOX works under the skin surface. It targets the underlying muscle activity which leads to wrinkles which form over time.

Dr. Zoumalan injects BOTOX into the muscles that cause crow’s feet (wrinkles around eyes), forehead wrinkles, and bunny lines between eyebrows. This temporarily reduces the activity of those muscles. The result is a reduction in the appearance of those lines. This leads to smoother skin which appears younger.

Does BOTOX Prevent Wrinkles?

Studies have also shown that regular use of Botox may help in preventing future wrinkles, as well as assist current lines from getting worse. However, use of Botox at too young of an age may not be wise. Dr. Zoumalan is an expert in facial procedures and treatments, and will help guide you to your desired look.

Testimonials

  • I was injured on January 7, 2012 in a mo-ped/scooter accident in Cozumel, Mexico. My entire body head to toe (literally) endured horrendous road rash, my nose broke & plenty more. The level of care I received from dr Zoumalan & his entire office was/is truly indescribable but I shall try!

  • It’s been a year since my septoplasty and rhinoplasty and I am extremely happy with my results. Not only has my breathing dramatically improved, I am sleeping better than ever. I feel healthier and it has significantly changed my exercise routine. I can definitely push myself harder and my work outs are longer and more efficient. Best part is I don’t get that winded feeling or stuffy or runny nose while running. I didn’t realize how many aspects of my life would change after the surgery.

  • So when I met with Richard Zoumalan, I gave him a picture of me when I was 42, and I said, “That’s what I want. Is that possible?” And he said, “Yes!” He explained what he’d do, and how he would do it. I had surgery less than a month ago, and amazingly, I look almost exactly like me, only about 25 years younger.

  • Dr. Richard Zoumalan performed an exceptional revisional rhinoplasty of my nose. I have a history of chronic sinusitis and have had several sinus surgeries and 2 rhinoplasties in hopes to correct my problem. My original rhinoplasy was done to correct a severely deviated septum.
